NOVAE is a French intermediate size enterprise that was created in 2003, and that is specialized in consulting and technical expertise in France and abroad. Our know-how has been built on a strong industrial background in the aeronautics, space and defense industries, and we now deploy our expertise in the energy, automotive and mobility industries in the broadest sense.
NOVAE has its head office in Paris and is present throughout France, with its offices, training center or digital production center devoted to the production of technical training resources (Bordeaux, Bayonne, Pau, Toulouse), and abroad in the United Arab Emirates, Morocco and Singapore. NOVAE is also present on the sites of its customers or the sites of the end users of systems and equipment on which we work (production site, MRO center, military bases, etc.).
With a workforce of 400, NOVAE generates sales of around 40 million euros.
NOVAE is impacted by constant changes and a solid development in the fields of design, manufacture, MRO/MCO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul / Global Support Package) support, as well as the transfer of theoretical or practical technical knowledge (On Job Training).
Over the years, NOVAE has diversified its activities and broadened its sphere of activity to become a major player in the fields of design, manufacture, MRO/GSP support, and information transfer. NOVAE demonstrates a desire to constantly innovate and adapt to the needs of the market, thus placing it as a forerunner in the aerospace and defense industries.
Proximity
NOVAE currently has more than 400 employees in France and around the world, working in 10 offices, deploying its services in about ten different countries daily.
France • United Arab Emirates • Singapore • Japan • India • Latin America • North America • North Africa • Central Africa • Middle East
Partnerships
Aware that there is strength in numbers and that it is pointless to invest where others are experts, NOVAE has, since its creation, implemented a 360-degree partnership approach with universities, colleagues, freelancers and even some of its customers.
This is why we created NOVA Community, to bring together, around our core areas of expertise, technology communities to which our employees and external partners belong. This community allows us to enrich exchanges, together with promoting the running of joint projects and developing best practice.
As part of its affiliation with Safran Helicopter Engines, NOVAE has been exclusively approved to provide engine type training (under SHE’s MTOE PART 147) in the Europe/Africa/Middle-East zone for more than ten years.
Through the Bayonne Training Center and at our customers’ sites, the company provides theoretical and practical (SHE) training organized at 3 engine maintenance levels:
Level 1 and 2: different levels of line maintenance.
Level 3: deep maintenance.
In 2018, Airbus Helicopters Training Services partnered with NOVAE to develop its aircraft maintenance training offer.
Through this collaboration, the training spectrum proposed by Airbus Helicopters Training Services has widened and now meets the highly specific needs of the defense sector. Hence, by providing a solution to these specific needs, NOVAE actively participates in the deployment of new training (armament course– Puma flight crew training course, among others) for Airbus Helicopters Training Services, Bordeaux.
Since the signing of a framework agreement in January 2019, NOVAE has provided training under MTO Flex AIRBUS Helicopters Training Services in the Aquitaine region for the “ending programs” range. This range of training courses in particular includes the Mechanic and Avionics Defense Bridge Course and Helicopter TR training courses.
