In the same year, NOVAE gains momentum by diversifying its activities to ground support, thus strengthening its position in the field of ground operations support.
2020
By selling its aerostructure parts production plant, the Company is pursuing its industrial services development strategy, choosing to focus fully on its technical support and subcontracting service activities. It is also strengthening its international presence and its capacity to offer services to customers worldwide.

Partnerships

A logic of partnerships and work in extended enterprise

Aware that there is strength in numbers and that it is pointless to invest where others are experts, NOVAE has, since its creation, implemented a 360-degree partnership approach with universities, colleagues, freelancers and even some of its customers.

This is why we created NOVA Community, to bring together, around our core areas of expertise, technology communities to which our employees and external partners belong. This community allows us to enrich exchanges, together with promoting the running of joint projects and developing best practice.

Safran Helicopter Engine Academy

Safran Helicopter Engine Academy Affiliation

As part of its affiliation with Safran Helicopter Engines, NOVAE has been exclusively approved to provide engine type training (under SHE’s MTOE PART 147) in the Europe/Africa/Middle-East zone for more than ten years.

Through the Bayonne Training Center and at our customers’ sites, the company provides theoretical and practical (SHE) training organized at 3 engine maintenance levels:

Level 1 and 2: different levels of line maintenance.

Level 3: deep maintenance.

Airbus Helicopter Training Services

Partnership Airbus Helicopter Training Services

In 2018, Airbus Helicopters Training Services partnered with NOVAE to develop its aircraft maintenance training offer.

Through this collaboration, the training spectrum proposed by Airbus Helicopters Training Services has widened and now meets the highly specific needs of the defense sector. Hence, by providing a solution to these specific needs, NOVAE actively participates in the deployment of new training (armament course– Puma flight crew training course, among others) for Airbus Helicopters Training Services, Bordeaux.

Since the signing of a framework agreement in January 2019, NOVAE has provided training under MTO Flex AIRBUS Helicopters Training Services in the Aquitaine region for the “ending programs” range. This range of training courses in particular includes the Mechanic and Avionics Defense Bridge Course and Helicopter TR training courses.
